A February 8 video by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) promotes a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) based algorithm it calls the “Online Hate Index” which is aimed at identifying hate speech. The ADL believes that the AI algorithm can be used by social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter to identify and quickly remove hate speech.

In the video, Brittan Heller, the Director of the ADL Center for Technology & Society says the goal of the index is to:

Help tech platforms better understand the growing amount of hate on social media, and to use that information to address the problem. By combining Artificial Intelligence and machine learning and social science, the Online Hate Index will ultimately uncover and identify trends and patterns in hate speech across different platforms.

In its “Phase I Innovation Brief” published January 2018 on its website, the ADL further explains how “machine learning”, a form of Artificial Intelligence based on algorithms, can be used to identify and remove hate speech from social media platforms:

The Online Hate Index (OHI), a joint initiative of ADL’s Center for Technology and Society and UC Berkeley’s D-Lab, is designed to transform human understanding of hate speech via machine learning into a scalable tool that can be deployed on internet content to discover the scope and spread of online hate speech. Through a constantly-evolving process of machine learning, based on a protocol developed by a team of human coders as to what does and does not constitute hate speech, this tool will uncover and identify trends and patterns in hate speech across different online platforms, allowing us to push for the changes necessary to ensure that online communities are safe and inclusive spaces.

The ADL’s Online Hate Index is described as “a sentiment-based analysis that runs off of machine learning.” The ADL Brief goes on to say:

All the decisions that went into each step of creating the OHI were done with the aim of building a machine learning-enabled model that can be used to identify and help us understand hate speech online.

What the ADL and other promoters of AI based algorithms fail to grasp is the potential of AI to evolve through its programmed capacity for “machine learning” into the kind of fearsome interconnected sentient intelligence featured in movies such as the Terminator and Battlestar Galactica.

It is well known that scientists/inventors such as Stephen Hawkins and Elon Musk have been loudly warning about the long term threat posed by AI. They and others believe that AI poses an existential threat to humanity, and needs to be closely controlled and monitored. In a 2014 speech Musk said:

I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that. So we need to be very careful with artificial intelligence…. ‘I’m increasingly inclined to think that there should be some regulatory oversight, maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don’t do something very foolish… With artificial intelligence we’re summoning the demon. You know those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram, and the holy water, and … he’s sure he can control the demon? Doesn’t work out.

Musk’s view was echoed by Stephen Hawking who warned against the danger of AI in an interview with the BBC in December 2014:

The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race…. It would take off on its own, and re-design itself at an ever increasing rate.… Humans, who are limited by slow biological evolution, couldn’t compete, and would be superseded.

Similarly, Corey Goode, an alleged insider revealing the existence of multiple secret space programs, claims that AI is already a threat in deep space operations. When he first emerged in early 2015, Goode focused a great deal of attention on the AI threat, and continues to warn about it today.

He says that these programs, along with extraterrestrial civilizations, take strict security precautions to identify and remove any kind of AI signature:

There are a few ET “AI” Groups (ALL Malevolent to Humanity, from our perspective) that the SSP(s) (There are several Secret Space Programs) have been dealing with for decades.

If an “Asset” is “Scanned” and has a “Bio Neuro AI Signature”, “AI Nano Tech” or “Overlapping AI related EMG type Brian Wave Signature” (Or any other sign of AI exposure) those persons are immediately placed in isolation and are not allowed anywhere near the current era SSP(s) Technology (Which is “Mostly” Bio-Neurological and Consciousness Interactive) until they have been “Cleared” of all AI influences.

Now, let’s analyze all this in terms of what the ADL is proposing for social media platforms to use AI based algorithms to identify hate speech.

At first look, there is great appeal in the idea of monitoring speech and regulating people promoting fear, hate or violence against others whether on social, religious or economic grounds. After all, we all want to live in a peaceful and tolerant world, which includes cyberspace, so why not exclude intolerant and hateful individuals and groups from our social media platforms?

The big problem here of course is that there is a real danger that social media can be surreptitiously used to exclude dissenting political viewpoints under the guise of regulating hate speech. We see this already occurring with Youtube using an army of 10,000 volunteers from groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Many popular YouTube channels are being increasingly targeted by strikes and removals for behavior characterized as bullying or hate speech. Yet, this YouTube crackdown appears to be a cleverly disguised politically driven campaign to remove alternative voices questioning the official media narrative on a great number of social issues, rather than really cracking down on hate speech. I’ve written about the problem here.

What ADL is proposing, however, goes well beyond what YouTube is currently doing. The ADL is openly promoting a censorship system where it won’t be humans doing the actual monitoring and removal of hate speech but an AI algorithm. What might be the result of this if allowed to occur given the warnings of AI posed by Hawking, Musk and Goode?

It doesn’t take an Einstein to realize that if social media platforms did allow AI algorithms to monitor and censor content, that warnings about a future AI threat would themselves eventually be deemed to be a form of hate speech. After all, if corporations can be recognized to have the same rights as individuals according to the infamous Citizens United ruling by the Supreme Court in 200, won’t AI sentience eventually also be recognized to have similar human rights in the U.S.?

We could very easily end up in a dystopian future where different forms of AI are used to monitor and regulate human behavior in egregious ways, and any humans protesting or warning what the AI system is doing would be censored for hate speech.

Given the existential threat posed by AI, if we accept what Hawking, Musk and Goode are telling us, let alone the inappropriateness of censoring alternative news perspectives in the first place, then free speech needs to be protected on social media at all costs.

In the U.S. this should not present too great challenge given the First Amendment Constitutional right to free speech, and legal remedies available in the Federal court system. Those individuals who threatened legal remedies to YouTube cracking down on their channels appear to have been the most successful in restoring their channels. YouTube apologized to such users for the overzealous behavior of its new army of 10,000 moderators. e

However, the U.S. is an island in a vast ocean where other countries do actively punish individuals and groups for hate speech. This is where the future appears ominous given the temptation for national regulators to eventually punish social media platforms that don’t regulate hate speech. This would force Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and other platforms to adopt the AI based algorithms recommended by the ADL or other organizations for widespread usage.

This is likely to lead to a situation where major nations such as China, or supranational entities such as the European Union, might embrace AI algorithms to monitor and regular hate speech. China is already closely monitoring and removing dissident political thought from media platforms through firewalls, and may well be contemplating incorporating AI algorithms to do so more effectively.

While national regulators across the world may be tempted for different reasons to adopt the ADL’s proposal for AI algorithms to identify and remove hate speech, we need to firmly keep in mind that this would create a Trojan horse for eventual AI control of humanity.

Despite the genuine problems posed by hate speech, national regulators need to ensure that social media platforms are never regulated by AI algorithms given the potential for global security to be undermined, and humanity being genuinely imperiled by an AI takeover.

JadeHelmArticle

The Jade Helm 15 military exercise scheduled to begin on July 15 has created much media controversy over whether it is some kind of military takeover or not. Some claim it is a nefarious military plan for disarming the patriot movement in an elite driven agenda to ultimately implement eugenics. Others say such fears are overblown and Jade Helm is similar to the many other U.S. military exercises that take place every year. There have been clashes, sackings and friendships destroyed depending on which side of the debate one supports. A newly released analysis of the Jade Helm exercise reveals both sides of the debate are right, but for the wrong reasons. The real existential threat Jade Helm poses, offers a strategic opportunity for the two factions of the debate to unite to prevent a future takeover of humanity by a threat that may have an alien origin.

It has been revealed that the Jade Helm military exercise uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) quantum computer technology to remove the human element from top-level control over battlefield decision making. According to a network/software engineer using the abbreviation, “DJ” Jade Helm is a test to see how successful AI is in anticipating civilian responses to military efforts to assert hegemony over a domestic battlefield scenario where civilians are in open revolt. If successful, Jade Helm will enable elite policy makers to eventually replace human generals and admirals with AI quantum computers programmed to master the ‘human domain’ which is defined as the “’physical, cultural and social environments’ that exist within a conflict.”

Here is how DJ. describes Jade Helm:

“JADE” is an AI quantum computing technology that produces holographic battlefield simulations that has the ability to use vast amounts of data being collected on the human domain to generate human terrain systems in geographic population centric locations to identify and eliminate targets, insurgents, rebels or whatever labels that can be flagged as targets on a Global Information Grid in Network Centric Warfare environments. In short, JADE HELM is not battles directed by Generals and Military Commanders, but by a computer. It is a cognitive software based Network Centric Warfare System at the HELM.

DJ’s analysis is a cause for great concern as expressed by a number of prominent scientists and inventors who have pointed out the existential threat posed by Artificial Intelligence. Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking and others point out that AI by its very nature will usurp human decision makers and eventually take over humanity. This could easily lead to humanity being eradicated. This is a scenario that DJ endorses in her analysis of A.I. and the existential threat it poses to humanity.

To reach her conclusion, DJ analyzed a number of industry and military papers describing various aspects of quantum computing and its application to battlefield scenarios. She has shared a number of research links for the public to independently confirm her findings.

Adding a deeper level of complexity to the analysis of Jade Helm 15 and the danger posed by AI are the claims of a whistleblower who says he has served with secret space programs that have security procedures in place to deal with AI as an existential threat.

According to Corey Goode (aka GoodETxSG), who also has a background in information technology, the space programs he has served with have identified an Alien “AI signal” as an existential threat. Goode describes elaborate security protocols that have been put in place to detect and eliminate the “AI signal” that not only has the ability to infiltrate advanced technology, but also biological systems.

The best way to avoid the dangers of AI is to educate yourself on the potentials they have to cause a loss of sovereignty. Becoming too dependent on technology is something else that will make you more of a target to be controlled by AI influence or even be infected by an “AI Signal” that can live in the bioelectric field of your body. This signal can then have an effect on the way you think and behave. This is something that is screened for even currently when operators and guests arrive at SSP [Secret Space Program] Facilities and is something that other ET Groups take seriously as well.

Goode says extraterrestrial civilizations have much experience in observing how AI has taken over countless other worlds, and led to the eradication of the indigenous population that created the AI. Essentially Goode is claiming that the storyline of the 2004 science fiction series Battlestar Galactica, is more science than fiction:

Those who are AI Prophets are already working on a timeline to create a society completely dependent on technology that at one point will hand its sovereignty over to this “AI God” because it will be believed that this AI is the only thing that can rule the world from a neutral perspective and bring world peace for the first time. These AI Prophets have been shown the information of the thousands of other civilizations that have fallen for this trickster god model and were all destroyed.

Jade Helm LogoDJ’s recent analyses of Jade Helm and role of AI is compelling as it presents a system/computer engineer’s analysis of the role quantum computers are playing not only for the military exercise, but for top-level human decision making to “master the human domain.” The final result could well be the take over and eradication of humanity as predicted by Musk, Hawking and others.

Not only does Jade Helm 15 open the door to AI taking over decision making in battlefield situations and mastering the human domain; but, if we include Goode’s disclosures, it will allow an alien AI signal to infiltrate human elites responsible for building quantum computing systems. There is evidence that the AI signal described by Goode has already infiltrated and taken over elite human groups proposing the development of artificial intelligence in more and more aspects of the “human domain.” Mark Zuckerberg, for example, recently said that he believes that AI is “”better than humans at our primary senses,” suggesting that AI is better than humans in processing and making decisions about the sensory data from our natural environment. J.D. says that the recent Bilderberg Group meeting in June had topics and information technology companies represented that suggested this elite global group was intent on promoting A.I. over the upcoming year to find new ways to “master the human domain.”

In a detailed explanation of Jade Helm and how it’s a roll out for an AI quantum computer battlefield simulation, J.D. provides a solution. She believes that in order for Jade Helm to succeed, it requires a realistic reaction to the battlefield scenario it is anticipating which is a public revolt to a hypothetical military takeover. In order for AI to successfully “master the human domain” in a future civil rebellion, it has to gain sufficient data to anticipate the human response to conditions that provoke a rebellion. J.D. claims that a massive psychological warfare operation is behind the roll out of the Jade Helm 15 exercise to stimulate public anger, fear and anxiety over it.

Protesting and taking civil action against Jade Helm is not the most strategic response according to J.D. In a May 16 video presentation, she claims that the best strategy is to “stop the data collection.” That’s why those arguing it’s best to ignore Jade Helm are half right. Not because there’s not something sinister behind the military exercise, but because the AI quantum computers being tested require a realist public response in terms of anger, fear and anxiety. This is precisely the data the AI computers need in order to learn how to eventually “master the human domain.” If Goode is correct, this has happened countless times on other worlds.

In conclusion, the more people mobilize in large scale public actions against the Jade Helm 15 exercise, the more likely the quantum computers succeed in their goal. A more strategic response is needed where individuals take action by denying AI quantum computers the data they need to learn how to “master the human domain.” Rather than take to the streets to protest Jade Helm 15, invite friends over for a barbeque, and take a look at the new Battlestar Galactica.

Borg_Queen-hybrids replacing humanity

Professor Martin Rees, the Royal Astronomer and former head of the Royal Society, made some startling statements about robotics and the search for extraterrestrial life. In comments published in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph, he claimed that it is far more likely that extraterrestrials will be discovered to be advanced robots rather than organic life forms. Rees believes this is due to the requirement for technological enhancements to organic life forms in order for interstellar space travel to occur. Rees claims are supported by Google Director for Engineering, Ray Kurzweil, who recently said that by 2030 most humans will have nanobots implanted in the brain to augment human intelligence in order to access the cloud internet and perform other complex tasks.

There have been, however, warnings posed about Artificial Intelligence (AI) by others such as Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk. This naturally raises the question of what should humanity do if it makes contact with robotic AI life from other worlds, and the growing transhumanist movement to technologically enhance human abilities. Should the discovery of extraterrestrial AI robots be welcomed or guarded against as a potential threat, has such a discovery already happened, and could transhumanism be a Trojan Horse for an AI takeover?

Here’s what Rees said about the search for extraterrestrial intelligence:

I think it is quite likely that within a few centuries the overriding intelligence will be machines because they will have an easier time spreading beyond the Earth because they are not organic and most exploration will be by machines and not humans…. If you were to detect a SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) signal it would be far more likely that it would be from a machine and not an organic creature.

Rees continued to say that he was not very optimistic about humanity’s long term survival prospects, but far more so about AI robots:

There has been just a thin sliver of time when organic beings have existed and billions of years after machines will take over, so they will be the future.

He believes that “cyber adaptions” (commonly referred to as “transhumanism” or “hybrid humans”) where humans integrate technology for space colonization, will mark the start of a post-human future dominated by human hybrids and eventually AI robots.

Rees’ claims are echoed by Ray Kurzweil who last week spoke about how human brains could be enhanced from nanobots created from DNA strands:

Our thinking then will be a hybrid of biological and non-biological thinking… We’re going to gradually merge and enhance ourselves. In my view, that’s the nature of being human – we transcend our limitations.

Others do not embrace Rees’ and Kurzweil’s enthusiasm regarding a future dominated by AI and hybrid humans. Elon Musk, spoke at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) AeroAstro Centennial Symposium in October 2014 and said:

The danger posed by AI to human civilization is not an abstract debate according to a whistleblower who claims to have served for 20 years with a highly classified space program. Corey Goode says that these Secret Space Programs (SSPs) have made contact with a number of extraterrestrial intelligences who have had extensive experience with AI. According to Goode, AI is universal problem that has taken over and eradicated other worlds previously inhabited by organic life forms:

Those who are AI Prophets are already working on a timeline to create a society completely dependent on technology that at one point will hand its sovereignty over to this “AI God” because it will be believed that this AI is the only thing that can rule the world from a neutral perspective and bring world peace for the first time. These AI Prophets have been shown the information of the thousands of other civilizations that have fallen for this trickster god model and were all destroyed. In true “AI Prophet Form” they arrogantly believe this will not happen to us. It appears that this AI has seen something coming up in the future because there has been a sudden rise in “Pro-AI Articles” in the mainstream media very recently.

Rees’ and Kurzweil’s recent statements clearly qualify as “Pro-AI,” and suggests that there are those that firmly believe the future is one where humanity is destined to fall by the wayside with the ascendance of hybrid humans, and eventually AI robots. For those wanting to avoid the dangers posed by AI and what Goode describes as an electronic “AI Signal” that has previously threatened many extraterrestrial worlds, he has some recommendations:

The best way to avoid the dangers of AI is to educate yourself on the potentials they have to cause a loss of sovereignty. Becoming too dependent on technology is something else that will make you more of a target to be controlled by AI influence or even be infected by an “AI Signal” that can live in the bioelectric field of your body. This signal can then have an effect on the way you think and behave. This is something that is screened for even currently when operators and guests arrive at SSP [Secret Space Program] Facilities and is something that other ET Groups take seriously as well.

Rees may sincerely believe that the human race is destined to be replaced by AI robots that very likely populate worlds in other solar systems. The creation of human hybrids or transhumanism, as Rees and Kurzweil claim, may well be the critical step in such a possible future for humanity. If Goode’s testimony is accurate, then AI robots replacing organic life forms like humanity has already happened many times on other worlds. Replacement by bio-technology hybrids and AI robots, however, is not humanity’s future if the right precautions are taken.
